Extruded Polystyrene in block form, gives low cost, easy to fit insulation and buoyancy that is almost totally impermeable throughout it's life. Not only will the insulation provide warmth in cold environments, it will work exactly in the same way to be cool in hot climates and condensation problems are always a thing of the past with spray foam. Navigational buoys will have a combination of materials to ensure that however they may be damaged they will remain floating in place to provide safety at sea, for all their life. |
